Friday April 30th Alex Hall signed his letter of intent to continue his academic/athletic baseball career at Buena Vista University.
Here is what Alex had to say, “What made me choose Buena Vista was the coaching staff and the beauty of the school. The coaching staff made me feel very wanted and put a lot of effort into me. The coaches had me meet a couple of other players on my visit and they made me feel like I could really fit in. I plan on majoring in Criminal Justice. Buena Vista has a great Criminal Justice major. The way I am going to prepare myself is putting everything aside this summer and focus on the sport I love. I will grind out everyday this summer becoming a better baseball player. A lot of my focus has been in the weight room this winter getting a lot stronger than I have been. Both of my surgeries have put me to a set back but I am going to come back a lot stronger from them by putting in work everyday.”
Bondurant-Farrar Assistant Coach Ken Burgess had this to say about Alex, “Alex is a solid all around ball player who can play many positions. He loves baseball. He is getting stronger and his best is yet to come. Looking forward to following Alex in the future!”
Bondurant-Farrar Head Baseball Coach Brad Hamilton made the following comments about Alex, “Every day whether it was the offseason or during the season Alex brought a tremendous work ethic to the ball field. I will miss most is Alex himself from being on the baseball field with him to his stopping by and hanging out during his lunch period. BV is getting an athletic kid that knows how to work in the offseason to get himself ready for the baseball season. Also a kid that is versatile and can play more than one position.”
Congratulations Alex! Bluejay nation wishes you the Best of Luck!
