Tuesday October 15th we honored our two senior volleyball players for this 2019 season, Lacey Beck and Alexis Bedier! Below is a brief summary of their high school activities. We greatly appreciate your commitment and dedication to the volleyball program! Best of luck the rest of the season! The girls head to Boone on Thursday for 9-JV-V contest 5:30pm start. Saturday they head to Knoxville for a tournament, before opening regional action by hosting Des Moines Hoover on Wednesday October 23rd 7pm start! Go Bluejays!
Lacey Beck – Parents are Blair and Susan Beck. While in high school she has been involved in volleyball, basketball, bowling, soccer, large group and individual speech. She participated in National Honor Society, Student Council, and was the Junior Class Treasurer. She qualified for state in volleyball and bowling, was a letter winner for basketball, bowling, speech, and soccer and is an academic letter winner and on the A honor roll. After graduation, she plans to attend the University of Iowa to study Biomedical Engineering. “I would like to thank my family, friends, and coaches for their support over these past four years. Alexis Bedier- Parents are Jeff and Michelle Bedier. While in high school she has been involved in volleyball, basketball, soccer, DECA, FCA, mentoring, church youth group, and was on homecoming court. She received honorable mention for two years of soccer and one year of volleyball, lettered in volleyball, basketball, and soccer. She participated at state volleyball and was on academic honor roll. After graduation she plans to go to college and play volleyball. “Thank you to all of my coaches, friends, and especially my family for the endless support!
