Bluejays News · Bluejays finish the season strong, defeat Carlisle!

The Bondurant-Farrar Bluejays finished the season strong with a 35-0 victory over the Carlisle Wildcats!  The Bluejays overcame some penalties early to put together a complete team win.  The offense had 419 total yards, 111 through the air and 308 on the ground.  Jordan Collins and Nyanti Gehrke both rushed for over a hundred yards, with Jordan rushing for one touchdown and Nyanti for two.  In the passing game Christian Conn and Garrett Levenhagen had receiving touchdowns.  After a few early penalties the offensive line imposed their will and paved the way for a memorable evening.  The defense pitched a shutout, while Conn lead the team in tackles with 11.  The defense had sacks turned in by Jordan Collins, Conn, Hunter Cross and Kaeden Lozano.  Brody Caswell picked off his 8th pass of the season and Lozano recovered a fumble.  Special teams also executed a beautiful onside kick recovered by the kicker himself Oskar White!  This was the last game for 17 seniors who will be greatly missed.  The freshmen team also won 41-6, moving their final record to 7-2!  Proud of the effort and work by our student-athletes and coaches!
