Multiple Teams · Bluejays to the State Co-Ed Track Meet


The Bondurant-Farrar High School Boys and Girls track teams are sending athletes to the State Co-Ed Track Meet on May 18-20th at Drake Stadium in Des Moines.

Both teams were in Norwalk for the district state qualifying meet.  The boys team was able to send six events to the state meet as well as four wheelchair events.  The girls saw one event qualify.  The night was highlighted by the boy’s John Carlson who won the high jump with a school record jump of 6’5″ breaking Taylor Sanderson’s mark of 6’4.5″ in 2010.  Another notable performance was Drake VanBaale, who was able to qualify in both the 3200m run and the 1600m run, finishing second in both events.
